Pjevao si našim izbjeglicama za vrijeme rata, preko telefona, iz Sarajeva, pod granatama. Sjećaš li se toga?

- Joj, milion puta sam tako pjevao. Nazovu neki, kažu, hajde, Kemice, molim te, zapjevaj nam jednu, evo raje ovamo, svi su kod telefona". I ja uzmem gitaru, pa zapjevam. "Poljupci sa ukusom kolača tvoje bake", "Da ti roknu samo dvije" ... To su bili najbolji koncerti. Tamo se skupi pedeset ljudi, svi na jednoj slušalici. Plaču oni tamo, plačemo mi ovamo.
