Cristiano Ronaldo Certain That Portugal Will Qualify For The World Cup
Injured Portugal ace Cristiano Ronaldo has backed his international team-mates to overcome the threat of Bosnia-Herzegovina in their World Cup play-off and qualify for next year's finals in South Africa.
"I will be supporting my team-mates.
I'm sure that we will qualify for the World Cup," he declared to Marca.
The 24-year-old has been at the centre of huge controversy in recent days as Real Madrid demanded that he be released from international duty in order to continue his recovery in the Spanish capital - a request that has only just been accepted.
However, he is hopeful that he will recover from his ankle injury in time for los Blancos' crucial clash against Barcelona on November 28.
"I want to play before [the match against] Barcelona. It's the biggest game but I want to play before that. I'm a little bit anxious to return because I really want to play again.
"I'm doing well, I've started to run again and next week I hope to train with the team."
Ronaldo was also asked for his thoughts about los Merengues' embarrassing Copa del Rey exit to minnows Alcorcon, but 'CR9' was in no mood to reflect on the defeat.
"The cup is already in the past," he concluded briefly.

don't be so sure, my dear,,,
John Terry can play with his back completely blocked, and he will put his head where I will not put my feet. He is extreme and knows he will suffer the consequences later, but he is sacrificing himself.
