Oni vec vide asmira kao prvog golmana slijedece sezone, jer misle da je to deal sa Pulisom, i da inace Begovic ne i ni dosao u Stoke.

E ljudi evo na stranici Stoke-a clanak o Begovicu, nije mi se dalo prevoditi ali sve u svemu trener Stoke-a hvali Begovica i drago mu je sto se tako dobro vratio poslije onih 5 komada sto je primio, ma uglavnom je bitno da hvale Bega .

TONY PULIS hailed another magnificent team performance after Stoke City completed a Premier League double over Europa League Finalists Fulham . . . but singled out goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for special praise following the Craven Cottage triumph.

The £3.25 million signing from Portsmouth kept his second successive clean sheet since coming into the side to replace the injured Thomas Sorensen and he pulled off one excellent save to deny Clint Dempsey midway through the second half.

Begovic had a tough baptism a short distance from Craven Cottage eleven days earlier when he came on as a substitute for Sorensen in the heavy defeat at Chelsea, but he has bounced back well in the subsequent games against Everton and Fulham.

"There were many fine performances in what was a great team effort, but I thought Asmir was brilliant for us," commented a delighted Pulis.

"He dealt with the crosses well and made one great save in the second half. It was the only real save he had to make, but that shows great concentration when he can react so well to the one clear-cut opening which they created.

"The kid had a difficult time in his first game for us, but he has since shown why he's going to be an outstanding signing for this Football Club."

City secured their fourth away win of the season and their third in the capital at Fulham's expense thanks to a late goal from Matthew Etherington.

And Pulis was full of praise for his players, saying: "I'm so pleased for those lads because they've shown fantastic spirit. Fulham are a very good team, but we produced a gritty performance. We got stuck in and worked very hard.

"That was the big difference between this result and Chelsea, but we know we will have to do it all over again at Old Trafford on Sunday.

"We know it's going to be very tough there but it would be great if we could round off the season with another big performance."

gledam ovaj mec manchestera i opet se beg dokazao iako gube 0-3. nemoze ni on stici sve sam kad im je odbrana u kurcu danas...

Ma nista, ManU je zapeo da dobiju jer su onali da jos imaju sanse za titulu.
Begovic nije imao nekih kikseva koliko sam vidio, ali mislim da je opravdao ocekivanja.

Mislim da Istanbul BB ne bi bolje prosao, tako da nemojtepocinjati sa nekim usporedbama nasa dva najbolja golmana.

Dzaba da brani kahn iz najbolji dana kad je ManU za 10 klasa bolji od Wigana i tu golman nema prevelike sanse.
Primio i golman Wigana 8 komada pa ce neko reci da je to do golmana.

Imo je Begovic jednu sjajnu odbranu. Nani izaso sam pred njim, i on jednom rukom uspio reagovat i sprijecit cist gol. Solidna utakmica Bega, iako je mozda mogo odbranit drugi gol sa malo vise srece.
