Italian correspondent Max Evangelista on Talksport say the deal for Sneijder is almost done. Apparently Utd have offered 40m euros and Inter need the money.

Evangelista also claimed that the current Inter boss doesn't see Sneijder as capable of playing in a central 2, his preferred system is 3-4-3, therefore is surplus to requirements.

He also claimed he cannot see how Sneijder would fit into Utd's system, but quickly conceded that SAF knew significantly more about players and sytems than he did.....!
