Ovi Ameri bi trebali prodati Liverpool kakvim šeicima, jer sa ovakvim ulaganjima mogu se nadati samo gubitku novca.

Liverpool: Potential transfer list

Glen Johnson £10-15m
Since his £4m move from Chelsea two years ago, Glen Johnson has forced his way into Fabio Capello's England team and been named Portsmouth's player of the year. Liverpool are desperate to fill their right back position, having never adequately replaced Steve Finnan.
Brede Hangeland £10m
Fulham's Norwegian giant seems to be on every manager's wish list this summer, and that includes Rafael Benitez. With Jamie Carragher not getting any younger and the exit of Sami Hypia, Liverpool could do with strengthening at the back and Hangeland would be the ideal player. Hangeland has stated he has no intention of leaving Fulham but a large bid could be too much to turn down for the Cottagers.
Stewart Downing £12m
Rafael Benitez has long been an admirer of the England winger and now that Middlesbrough have dropped to the Championship, he may be able to get his man. Albert Riera has looked decent but a stronger left winger would help Liverpool's bid for the Premier League title next season.
David Silva £20m
Valencia are willing to let their midfield star go in order to raise funds which has put Benitez on high alert. Having missed out on Gareth Barry this week, Liverpool must continue to look for someone who can bolster their central midfield, something which Silva would be more than capable of doing. Silva would cost in the region of £20m but reports of interest from Real Madrid could pose a problem.
Aaron Lennon £15m
The Tottenham winger began to rediscover the form that propelled him into the England set-up as the season went on. The 22-year-old has electric pace and a good delivery, and with Benitez happy to off-load Jermain Pennant on a permanent basis, Lennon could provide some competition for the right-wing berth. Some reports suggest Tottenham would like Pennant to join them at White Hart Lane, opening up the possibility of a swap deal.
Luis Antonio Valencia £15m
The Wigan winger is in great demand, with reports linking him with moves to Manchester City, Real Madrid, Manchester United and, of course, Liverpool. The Ecuador international has been in great form as Wigan again avoided a relegation battle. Wigan would like to hold on to the midfielder but a bid in the region of £15m could change their minds.
Marek Hamsik £15m
The 20-year-old Slovakian international is rumoured to be interesting Benitez. Currently plying his trade at Napoli, Hamsik is capable of playing at both left midfield and left back - which would be useful considering the impending departure of Andrea Dossena who has put in a transfer request.
Adam Johnson £2-3m
The England under-21 international has been attracting interest from a host of clubs after his performances last season and with just 12 months to run on his contract - Middlebrough may wish to cash in.
Javi Martinez £10m
With various reports linking Xabi Alonso with an exit from Anfield this summer, it is rumoured that Benitez has lined up Javi Martinez as his long term replacement. Martinez has said he enjoys the "wonderful atmosphere" of English football.
Carlos Tevez £22m
Signing Tevez would infuriate United fans - making the deal worthwhile enough to Liverpool fans - but it would also provide some much needed strength in the attacking department. Liverpool would have to find the £22m that's needed to secure his services.
Samuel Eto'o £15-18m
Fernando Torres is far too heavily relied on at Anfield and surely Benitez's main target this summer will be to relieve some of that pressure. As Eto'o showed in the Champions League final, he remains one the world's top strikers, and with his contract due to expire next summer, Barcelona may be forced to cash in on the Cameroon international.
Michael Owen (free agent)
This summer could see the return of Liverpool legend Michael Owen. Ever since he left Anfield for Real Madrid, Owen's career has never looked the same, and with Newcastle relegated, it seems unlikely the 29-year-old would choose to play outside the top-flight. His injury problems would be a concern and a deal that takes that into account may have to be found, but Owen could be set for a return home.
Diego Forlan £20m
The Uruguay striker smashed 32 goals in La Liga alone this season, putting him in the frame for a big money transfer. After securing Champions League football, Atletico Madrid will be reluctant to let him leave.
Mauro Zarate £15m
Benitez has admitted to an interest in Mauro Zarate, who is currently on loan at Lazio. The Roman club have delayed in tying up a permanent deal for the young Argentinean striker, prompting Liverpool to step up their efforts. Zarate had a spell in the Premier League with Birmingham, and after reaching double figures in Serie A this season, Benitez is eager to sign him up.
This is where they stop! This is where they fall! Give them nothing but take from them everything!
