Neki ljudi imaju manje bakterije koja proizvodi karijes, imaju jaču zubnu caklinu, nesvjesno jedu više hrane bogate kalcijumom, vitaminom C i slične stvari.
Bolesti koje uzrokuju loše zube su kardiovaskularne bolesti, dijabetes ili upalni procesi, a realno sve su to bolesti koje će uočiti prije nego što će mu pokvaren zub predstavljat problem.
Dok s druge strane, zapuštanje oralne higijene svakako može prouzrokovati razne bolesti al ako se neko u 21. vijeku zapušta po tom pitanju onda je to skroz neka druga tema.
Nama je danas ogroman problem količina šećera u svakoj hrani koju konzumiramo, a isto tako premalo obraćamo pažnju da unosimo hranu bogatu mineralima
