Čovjek nema nijednog top class igrača.
Mislim,daleko od toga da ja mislim da je Rodgers neki stručnjak,ali ekipa u kojoj je Coutinho najbolji pojedinac, u Premiershipu nema šta da traži. Barem kad je vrh u pitanju!

Poređenja s nama nisu na mjestu. Wenger je i ekipu kojoj su Đuru i Skilači bili štoperi a Lord CF,vodio do 4tog mjesta
Rodgers ipak nema to znanje i njemu trebaju top class igrači. A Liverpool takve teško može privući. Začarani krug. . .

Pa nema ni Emery u Sevilli niti jednog top class igrača, pa opet dvije godine zaredom osvaja Europa Ligu. Uz sve to ne potroši niti približno onoliko koliko hlupa na igrače Rodžers, a i prodaje one najbolje iz godine u godinu.
Dakle, samo je bitno savladati jednu stvar, a to je taktika. Prethodne tri sezone je bio tanak s tim i zbog toga nam su se dešavali svi oni loši rezultati kako u Premier Ligi, tako i u europskim natjecanjima.
Ponavljam, neka osvoji Europa Ligu i završi ponovno šesti u šampionatu i ja ću biti prezadovoljan, a mislim i velika većina navijača ovog kluba...

Nije Emery prvi koji ima ovakve rezultate u Evropi sa Sevillom

Mada,ja se slažem da Liverpool ima mnogo veće šansu za Čampions ligu kroz ELu nego kroz Premiership i to sam pisao još kad ste igrali protiv Bešiktaša.
Ali Englezi i Evropa se u zadnje vrijeme ne mirišu.

Slazem se s kumom. Neka osvoji EL i ja zadovoljan, mada ne vjerujem u to. Prosle godine ispadosmo od Besiktasa i to u periodu kad nismo imali poraza. Jako losi rezultati u Evropi su po meni rezultat neiskustva Rodgersa van Engleske. Meni se cini da on ne priprema ekipu prema protivniku vec ganja svoj fazon dok prolazi. Kad zakaze promijeni komplet formaciju dok ga ne provale. Tako je bilo i sa dijamantom. Kad su poceli markirat Gerrarda, presao je na 4-2-3-1, pa kada nije to islo presao je na 3-4-3. Onda je Swansea shvatio kako igrati protiv toga, pa United unaprijedio i na kraju Arsenal unistio. Od tad je stalno nesto mijenjao, cak i vise puta u utakmici. To mu ja dosta zamijeram. Po tom pitanju je bio dosta bolji u Swanseu. Zelio je igrati Barcinu igru, ali nije imao uslove i malo je prilagodio, ali nije mijenjao sve iz temelja. Zato mi i sad nakon pune tri godine ne znamo kakvu formaciju cemo igrati. Na osnovu prijateljskih se da zakljuciti da ce biti 4-3-3 i 4-1-2-1-2. Nije uspostavio plan kakav je obecao, a to nije recept za uspijeh.

Rekao sam vec, uprava je ovog puta izasla u susret treneru i vrlo dobro se radilo, sve primarne mete koje su skautirane, dovedene su, za razliku od proslog, i pretproslog leta, kada su nam izmicali Alexis, Costa, Mkhytarian, Willian i ko sve ne. Dakle top4 ili EL trofej, a moze i oboje, ispod toga rezultat, i to je kraj Brendanove price. On je dobio igrace, i na njemu je sada da gradi tim.

Vec je davno poznato da klub ne dovodi klase, vec ih pravi, tako da je prava realnost da nakon ove sezone, tim bude imao par top class igraca, jer su svi tu negde na prelazu. Ovaj tim je na kolektivnom kvalitetu dobio, izgubili smo klasu istinsku u Suarezu, ali sada ima vise tih "vrlo dobrih" igraca koji su potencijal za klasu, nego onda.
Naravno, ako ekipa nije uigrana, dzaba ti i 5 top class igraca u timu.

Po svim parametrima i predvidjanjima, mi smo peti, ali ista situacija bila i sezone kada smo se borili za titulu, mada su konkurenti sada neupitno jaci. Sada ne mora toliko ekscesivno da bude, dosta je borba za mesta 3-4. Sanse su vece za to, nego sto su bile prosle sezone.

Roberto Firmino has explained the role Philippe Coutinho played in his move to Anfield this summer and revealed his excitement at the prospect of making his Reds debut.

After taking part in his first training session at Melwood since signing for the club, the Brazilian sat down with Liverpoolfc.com to talk about his move from Hoffenheim and his Barclays Premier League targets.


Welcome to Liverpool Football Club, Roberto. Why Liverpool then, what persuaded you to sign for the club?

As a football fan, I've been watching the Premier League for a while now. Liverpool was my choice because of its history and its team, and also because Coutinho told me some great things about the club. I hope I can bring joy to the people playing for this club.
How much do you know about Liverpool and its history, honours and fans?

Although I obviously don't know as much as the people from the city and the fans, I do know some stuff about Liverpool. I've been watching some games and also I remember that famous Champions League final, when Liverpool were trailing 3-0 and came back to win the trophy on penalties. I feel very fond of Liverpool.

How did it feel when you first learned that Liverpool wanted to sign you?

It's always welcome knowing that a club is interested in you. I discussed it with my agent and decided to opt for Liverpool, so here I am today.

For Liverpool fans who don't know much about you and your career, what sort of player are you? How do you like to play?

I'm a player who works hard and who's constantly looking to support my teammates on the pitch. I'm a player with an attitude and who knows how to play a tactical role with the team. You will soon have the opportunity to see me play.

How does it feel to wear one of the world's most famous football shirts?

It's a unique opportunity. I could say Liverpool is the first big club I will play for. It's a massive chance for me to show what I can do.

How will it feel to play in red again? (Roberto played for Clube de Regatas Brasil as a youngster)

It will be a special feeling. I've matured since then and I think the red colour represents the passion. I want to show the fans this passion alongside my teammates.

How much are you looking forward to joining up with your teammates and being involved in the final weeks of pre-season?

I've received a warm welcome from the teammates who are here and I trust I will have the same from those who are on tour at the moment. I hope I can join up with them soon and get on well with everyone so we can do our best together on the pitch.
Are you confident you'll be able to adapt to English football?

I am, without a doubt. German football, where I've played for nearly five years, is very similar – maybe just a little less tough than English football. I'm confident I'll be just fine here.

Have you heard about the famous Kop? How much are you looking forward to playing in front of them?

Yes. I can't wait to step out onto the pitch with my right foot and give my best to the team and my teammates. I'm looking forward to having goosebumps when I hear the fans singing those chants before the game.

How much of an influence was Philippe Coutinho on you signing for this club?

He was very helpful although it was ultimately my decision. I wanted to know more about how it works here and he had some very good things to tell me. He's a great character and I hope we can nurture our friendship at Liverpool.

Philippe and you recently played together for Brazil at the Copa America. What was that like and how much are you looking forward to playing alongside Coutinho at Liverpool?

As I've just said, Philippe is a great person and has a big heart. He showed me his personal qualities during our time together at the Selecao. I'm expecting us to be two fighters on the pitch battling together for the best for Liverpool, hoping that it will bring us the victories.

Have you had the chance to see and know the city of Liverpool? What are your first impressions of the city and the people?

I've noticed the city is bigger than Hoffenheim – where I used to live – so I think it'll be a better experience for me. It's a different world really. I hope I can settle in and start to play as quickly as possible.

Have you watched many Liverpool games on the television?

As I said, I remember well that Champions League final from a while ago. I've been watching English football and particularly Liverpool recently as I knew the club were interested in signing me.

You come to a young Liverpool team. What can this squad achieve together, what can you bring to this team and how much are you looking forward to this new challenge in your career?

Although it's a young team, there's a lot of experience and quality in it. Each and every one of the players must do their best to have the chance to play and win games as a consequence.

Philippe has mentioned on several occasions that he has had a great welcome from the Liverpool fans since his arrival in 2013. How important is it for you to have the same reception from the supporters?

It's very important and makes a huge difference to the players as the fans are our 12th player. They're always behind their team and that gives us a boost to run on the pitch and help each other.

After completing the formalities of his move to Anfield, Christian Benteke sat down with Liverpoolfc.com to discuss the draw of the Reds, his emotions upon signing, and his aims for the future - read on for a full Q and A.

Christian, welcome to Liverpool Football Club. How does it feel to have signed?

I'm very happy to be here and I would like to thank the owners, Ian [Ayre] and of course the manager for their massive effort to bring me here.

We're speaking literally minutes after you put pen to paper, what would you say is your overwhelming emotion?

It's hard to show your emotion when you've just come from doing something [like this] but of course I am very happy.

Why was Liverpool the right club for you?

I think it was the right club for me because I had a good chat with the manager and I wanted to be part of his project.
You've scored several times at Anfield for Aston Villa in the last couple of years, what do you imagine it will be like running out in front of the home supporters in the red of Liverpool?

I think when I came here with Aston Villa [it was] a great feeling to play at Anfield. Now, to be in the home shirt is going to be an exciting feeling.

What do you know about Liverpool Football Club?

I know Liverpool is a big story. They've won [many] league titles and the Champions League five times and of course the UEFA Cup and a lot of trophies. I know it's a big club.

You're the seventh signing the club has made this summer, what is your take on the strength of the squad you're joining?

I think there are quality players, a lot of good players with big names of course. I'm happy to be part of this team and will [try] to help this team reach its goals.

How much are you looking forward to meeting up with your teammates in the final few weeks of pre-season?

I'm very excited. I want to meet them and work with them, of course.

You can also look forward to working with your Belgium international colleagues Simon Mignolet and Divock Origi - have you spoken to them in recent days about life at Liverpool?

Not yet but I will just wait to see them and hopefully they are going to help me!

Since you came to England you've developed into one of the Barclays Premier League's top forwards but how would you describe yourself as a striker?

It's hard to speak about yourself. I prefer other people to speak about me.

You're still only 24, do you feel you can develop and become an even better player at Liverpool?

Yeah of course. I want to be the best and I want to reach the best of myself.

What do you hope to actually achieve here at this football club?

I came here to win trophies. I came here to reach some great goals with the team.

What would you say motivates you as a footballer?

It's about winning trophies. It's about doing something in [my] career I can maybe explain to my son or my kids what I did.

As you sit here now having just signed for this club what are you looking forward to most?

There's a lot of feelings. I want first to meet my new teammates and I want to work with the manager and his staff.

Finally, what would you say was your message to supporters in Liverpool and all over the world who'll be wishing you every success in a red shirt?

I'm very happy to be part of the Liverpool family now and I will do everything to make them happy and work hard for them and my teammates.

Mislim da će ulogu u pripremi mečeva u Europa Ligi imati i Pepijn Linders i da je to jedan od razloga zašto je doveden u Liverpool. Sad je samo pitanje da li će Rodžers znati iskoristiti na najbolji mogući način savjete ne samo Holanđanina već i ove druge dvojice imenovanih.
Rodžers ako želi napraviti nešto sa Liverpoolom jednostavno mora početi igrati pametniji nogomet...

Ono što mene posebno brine jeste ta pozicija zadnjeg veznog u momčadi. Imam neki osjećaj da će nas i u novoj sezoni koštati dobrog rezultata. Nikako ne mogu prežaliti što nismo doveli nekog od dvojca Kondogbia-Imbula, a siguran sam da smo mogli.
