After a season of highs and lows at Liverpool, Italian full-back Andrea Dossena seems set for a return to Serie A.
Recently the 27-year-old has been frequently linked with a move to Napoli, a club he certainly wouldn't mind joining, as confirmed by his agent Federico Pastorello.
"I don't know if Liverpool and Napoli are negotiating," he said to IlSussidiario.net, "I only know that if this turns out to be true, Dossena would have no problem moving to Napoli, it's a destination he likes very much."
The agent admitted there were talks with Napoli about the player before.
"We had already talked with Napoli some time ago, and Dossena certainly likes the club," he continued. "I think [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis is negotiating directly with Liverpool, lately I have not been involved."
Since joining Udinese from Treviso in 2006, Dossena quickly grew in stature to become one of the Friulani's key players, and in 2007 he also made his debut with the Azzurri. Last summer he made the move to Liverpool, with mixed results, as he only made 16 appearances for the Reds, scoring once in the process.
Eto,Dossena bi bio sretan da onde u Napoli, super bi bilo kad bi se u Italiju vratio
